TAD Management & Movement Tracking

Transit Accompanying Documents printed and tracked from departure to discharge

Once NCTS accepts a declaration it issues a Transit Accompanying Document (TAD) carrying the MRN as a barcode. The TAD travels with the goods and is presented at every office of transit and at the office of destination. A missing or unclosed TAD is one of the most common reasons movements fail and guarantees get charged.

We print and dispatch TADs to drivers, monitor each movement on NCTS, chase the office of destination if discharge is delayed and resolve incidents — diversion, breakdown, exceeded time limit — through the proper NCTS messages. You receive a final discharge confirmation for your records.

How It Works

  1. 1Print and deliver the TAD to the driver or haulier
  2. 2Monitor the movement across offices of transit
  3. 3Chase discharge if not closed within the time limit
  4. 4Provide discharge confirmation and audit trail
