Transit Guarantee Setup

Every transit movement must be covered by a guarantee — security for the duty and VAT that would be due if the goods leaked into the customs territory. We help you choose between a Comprehensive Guarantee (CGU) for ongoing operations or an individual guarantee for occasional movements, and we apply for it with HMRC on your behalf.

We also manage the guarantee reference number (GRN) day-to-day: monitoring utilisation, flagging when the ceiling is approaching and arranging top-ups before a movement is blocked. If your current guarantee is rejected, expired or inadequate, we will tell you immediately — and propose a fix.
